Women Empowerment

Women Empowerment

Women form the backbone of a family. They typically play multiple roles: a mother, a wife and often a provider of income. Yet women suffer from severe gender inequality, especially in rural India. Supporting a rich range of replicable women-focused programs, we are empowering a new generation of women who support themselves financially, participate in local government, provide healthcare for their families, and stand up for equality at home and in their communities.

By helping women acquire non-traditional livelihoods with dignity, we are ultimately developing a cadre of empowered women who become agents of change. These women carry values of inclusion, mutual respect and equality, and democratise the spaces in which they live, whether it's their family or community.

We believe that women should have equal socio-economic, cultural and political opportunities as men. With this ideology in mind, a successful attempt was made to achieve a 50:50 ratio for both genders at all our formal schools.

Women have served all these centuries as looking glasses possessing the magic and delicious power of reflecting the figure of man at twice its natural size.
